BEST HOTELS IN BARBADOS

Barbados will always have a special place in our hearts. For Jon and I, this was out first far away international vacation together (I don’t really consider Bahamas international because it’s so close). We went to Barbados for one week and stayed in two hotels while we were there. We seriously had the most amazing trip.

The first half of the trip, we stayed at the an all inclusive hotel called Sea Breeze Beach House. Our room was stunning, the whole property was amazing, and the energy was so fun at this resort! The water was also SO warm in Barbados. I loved that because I love to swim in the ocean. The first few days, we relaxed. And boy, did we need it! Jon and I work VERY different types of jobs, but we were both extremely over worked and over stressed. The vacation came at the perfect time.

On the third day, we had a catamaran cruise with Silver Moon Barbados! This was one of the best experiences of my life. The catamaran was like a mega yacht and so beautiful. We had lunch on the boat which was delicious. But the best part was that we got to swim with sea turtles! This was SO cool to see these incredible animals up close and personal. Make sure you watch my travel vlogs that are linked below so you can see the turtles!

For the second half of the trip, we stayed at regular hotel called Ocean Two Barbados. This hotel was just as stunning, but it wasn’t all inclusive. We used the days while we were staying at this hotel to really explore Barbados! One day, we visited Mount Gay Rum which is the oldest rum distillery in the world. The next day we rented a little no door buggy car and drove up the whole island! We stopped at every major landmark on the way. This was something I will never forget with Jon. Experiencing new things together for the first time is truly an amazing bonding experience.

Overall, we LOVED Barbados! It was seriously one of the best vacations both Jon and I have ever been on. Barbados is definitely an island that I would visit again! Also, fun fact: Barbados is located right outside of the hurricane belt of islands so you don’t have to worry about that! I’d say thats a plus!

Have you ever been to Barbados!? Let me know in the comments!
